I grew up in a small and old village in Lorraine. This village is on the bottom of a valley, surrounded by mountains that you can observe as soon as your eyes look up. These mountains, covered by a magnificent and natural forest, stay green all year long. In the middle of this village, the main road weaves between the houses. This road is where we can find all the traces of the modern world: a billboard on a wall, an electrical panel that announce the more important news, like hunting dates, and a bread dispenser. As soon as you leave this road, you enter the historical part. Almost no moving cars, no people, just you. The paved streets guide you between the houses, constitute by yellow stones and thatched roof, and the large green fields. Here, it’s impossible to find houses with the same appearance. Each one has his own history. Now, if you pay attention, in the silence of these streets you can hear some animals that are parts of the place: goats, dogs, cats, chickens, horses, donkeys, … And if you close your eyes and take a deep breath, you can smell the fresh air, with a touch of grass and flower perfume. However, you must be careful not to daydream too much, because at the end of each street is the beginning of a stunning forest, and you will never want to leave.
