Wandering in the Vieux-Lille neighborhood after a long stressful day of school and subway, it's the same old routine day in day out. Suddenly, my senses come back to reality, sensations I used to feel and thus to forget, come back. The narrowness of the street, old stone-made buildings covered of green mold, overlooking from each side, the history of this neighborhood is spreading on me. My feet start to hurt, under the discontinuous relief of dirty stone pavers. Step by step, I become distracted thinking back to the history this street contains. But, with my right ear, I can hear the aggressive and melodic sound of bell towers from La cathédrale Notre-Dame-De-La-Treille, with the left one, the teeming sound of the people seated in front of a bar, I just lost my way and arrived at the Square Arnauld Chillon. It's hot, it's summer, we can smell this particular smell of freshly mown lawn mixed with pollen, I'll just take a seat at the square and appreciate this.
